Age of Blossoms

Author comments: “This is my first manga of tfa in 2011. When I saw the Transformers animated [for] the first time in Japanese, I interpreted Professor Sumdac and Megatron had [spent] fifty years as friends because they cut the scene of Megatron’s awaking.

Megatron said ‘Thank you for looking after me for fifty years,’, and Professor Sumdac calls Megatron ‘Megatron-kun.’ ‘-kun’ is very friendly! I was so excited at their friendship!

So this is why I draw this.”

 

I was given some notes on how to translate this. I went with what was on the page, but some things turned out different than the notes.

 

Smokescreen: Optimus, try saying “like” 10 times

 

Optimus: Like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like….like this?

 

(T/N: Optimus was tricked into saying “I love you so much” to Smokescreen.)

 

Smokescreen: Hehe, I like you too. Thanks! (smile)
